Abstract

The invention discloses an over-frequency module, a computer system and an over-frequency method thereof, which are used for performing automatic over-frequency actions on the computer system. The over-frequency module comprises a timer, a monitoring unit and a control unit, wherein the timer is used for timing when the computer system is started up, the monitoring unit is used for monitoring whether the computer system executes a start-up program in a certain period of time, and the control unit is used for adjusting the working frequency of the computer system according to the monitoring result of the monitoring unit so as to achieve the aim of automatic over-frequency.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a computer system, and in particular to an overclocking module, a computer system and an overclocking method thereof. Background technique [0002] In a generally known computer system, a motherboard usually has a frequency chip (Clock Generator). The function of the frequency chip is to provide different frequencies (Clock) for use by the central processing unit (central processor unit, CPU), memory, and other chips and buses with different functions on the motherboard. For the stability of the product, the manufacturer usually maintains a certain degree of tolerance when setting the frequency used on the motherboard. Therefore, in order to make the computer system work at a higher processing speed, the user will perform the so-called overclocking action. [0003] In known technologies, overclocking of computers is usually done manually. However, the overclocking operation is accomplished by repeatedly adjusting the...
