Abstract

The invention provides a method for extracting bromine from chloride-calcium type oil field water. The method comprises the following steps: taking concentrated solution of the chloride-calcium type oil field water after naturally solarization in a salt field as stock solution; acidifying and oxidizing the chloride-calcium type oil field water to transform free bromine ions into elementary bromine; then blowing the elementary bromine out by an air blowing process and absorbing the elementary bromine by alkali liquor or sodium sulfite solution; acidifying and oxidizing absorption liquid, then separating the absorption liquid by a wet distillation method to obtain liquid bromine, and filtering the liquid bromine to obtain a bromine product. Purity of the bromine is 97.6-99.0% and yield of the bromine is 89.5-95.5%. The method helps overcome the disadvantages of low bromine extraction rate in the prior art, is a new method found for extracting the bromine from the oil field water containing a large amount of NH4<+> and achieves high bromine yield and high purity bromine product.
