Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preventing acid seepage of a wiring terminal of a valve-controlled lead acid storage battery, which comprises the following steps: (1) dripping 1 to 2 drops of epoxy resin glue at the combination position of the terminal and a cover of the storage battery ready for the plugging of a rubber 'O'-shaped ring, plugging the rubber 'O'-shaped ring for sealing and making the 'O'-shaped ring tightly contacted with the epoxy resin glue; (2) welding the wiring terminal, filling the epoxy resin glue in a terminal rubber groove till the epoxy resin glue fills half of the volume of the terminal rubber groove after the welding is finished; and (3) placing the storage battery made by the step (1) in an oven at 50 to 60 DEG C for 20 to 40 minutes, and after taking the storage battery out of the oven, filling red and blue or black epoxy resin glue for distinguishing positive and negative poles in the terminal rubber groove till the epoxy resin glue fills the rubber groove up.
