Abstract
A device for replicating data for a plurality of storage media, a system and a replication method thereof are provided, which solve the problems of limited connectable target storage devices, slow transmission brought by limited bandwidth, and the simultaneous limited replication process number by system resources in an existing replication mode. The invention provides a cascade mode based on a USB interface, which modifies a USB slave computer in which the target storage medium is located, and realizes one-to-many data replication through connecting a plurality of slave computers in serial. The invention is provided with a USB HOST unit in the inner structure of an existing slave computer, and adds a cascade control logic unit between a USB Device unit and the USB Host unit, wherein the USB Device unit of each slave device is connected with the USB Host unit of an upper slave computer or the host computer, the USB Host unit of the slave computer is connected with the USB Device of the lower slave computer, and the cascade control logic unit is used to connect the USB Device unit and the USB Host unit.
