Abstract

According to the research, XAGE-1 can promote proliferation, transfer and invasion capabilities of cells of adenoid cystocarcinoma of salivary gland and various tumor cells. The gene and the expression products thereof can be used as drug targets to develop various tumor treatment drugs, in particular the drugs for resisting the growth and transfer of tumors. XAGE-1 and the expression products thereof can be used as the symbols of tumors for tumor diagnosis and analysis of illness, and for developing various diagnostic reagent kits and methods, thus significantly improving the diagnosis level of tumors, in particular incipient tumors.
