Disclosed is a communication system which comprises at least two local terminal devices and at least two filters which operate in different frequency ranges; the filters are respectively connected with the local terminal devices to extract the signals in the working frequency range of the local terminal devices among the signals needed to be received by the local terminal devices; the extracted signals are transmitted to the local terminal devices by the filters. The invention also provides a local terminal device and a signal separator. The communication system, the local terminal device and the signal separator extract the corresponding signals needed by the user terminal device or the local terminal device from the signals needed to be received by the device; the simultaneous support of different services is realized; meanwhile, the cross talk mutually generated among the different frequency range services is avoided effectively.
