The invention relates to a propagation technique of temperature sensitive genic male-sterile rice planted in low yield land of high altitude area with high yielding and low risk, aiming at overcoming the shortages of propagation method of Hainan propagation and local cold-water serial irrigation propagation of the prior art. By combining the advantages of the two propagation methods, the invention has the advantages that: compared with Hainan propagation, costs for renting fields and transportation are reduced by taking advantages of natural low-temperature conditions of high altitude area; compared with local cold-water serial irrigation propagation, water source is saved; temperature is cooled by using chilled-spring water when temperature is abnormal, so as to ensure successful propagation of the temperature sensitive genic male-sterile rice; adopting agricultural measures such as seedling culture submontane planting on mountains and large roots low density cultivation to improve the output of the temperature sensitive genic male-sterile rice at low-yielding high altitude area. The invention, by taking advantages of the temperature sensitive genic male-sterile rice of high altitude area, is in favor of promoting local economy.
