Problems solved by technology

[0007] However, such a solution also has disadvantages: during the opening of the door, the transverse rod rotates around itself, but its axis cannot move, so that when the door is in the open state, the transverse rod will be located at the center of the access opening leading to the furniture item. Inside, thus, the access opening is restricted and the removal or insertion of items will be hindered
But this has disadvantages, among other problems: furniture manufacturers have to stock two different types of hinges in order to be able to choose the most suitable type according to the door to be installed

Embodiment Construction

[0018] Referring to the drawings, in FIG. 1 there is shown a hinge assembly for a vertically moving door, generally designated by the numeral 10 . The assembly 10 comprises two hinged quadrilateral hinges 10a and 10b, which are in mirror image relationship and are arranged oppositely on the corresponding sides of the door (designated 18 in the figure) to be hinged. In order to simplify the description, similar elements on the two hinges will be designated by the same reference numerals, and only one of the hinges will be described in detail below.

[0019] Each hinge comprises a first plate 13 to be fixed to the side of the furniture, a second plate 17 to be fixed to the door, and two superimposed arms 15, 16 at points 19, 20 and 21, 22, the two arms are pivotably installed between the two plates, thereby forming a hinged quadrilateral connecting rod.

[0020] Advantageously, the hinge comprises a kinematic balancing spring 11 connected between the first plate 13 and the uppe...

Abstract

A hinge assembly for vertical-movement doors comprises two articulated-quadrilateral hinges each including a first plate (13) designed to be fastened to the furniture flanks, a second plate (17) designed to be fastened to the door and two superposed arms (15, 16) pivotally mounted between the plates to form the quadrilateral connecting-rods. The assembly comprises brackets (42) for removable fastening of the bar ends (43) to the hinges, where the brackets (42) can be alternatively mounted at two different fastening seats (40, 41) present at locations spaced apart from each other, along the upper arm of each hinge.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an articulated quadrilateral hinge assembly for a vertically moving door, provided with a stabilizer bar that can be quickly adapted to different work requirements. Background technique [0002] It is known that in articulated quadrilateral hinge assemblies used to open furniture doors in the vertical direction, two articulated quadrilateral hinges are provided which are arranged on one side of the hollow space enclosed by the door and are connected by a transverse rod are connected to each other, wherein the furniture door has a translational motion or a combined translational-rotational motion when it is opened. The reason why the transverse bar needs to be provided is that the range of motion of the two hinges is very large, otherwise, the two motion mechanisms will not be able to achieve synchronization. For example, if the door is opened from the right end by pulling the door, in the absence of a transverse bar, t...
