Abstract

This invention discloses a method for eliminating frequency deviation and mobile terminals, in which, the method includes: receiving GPS satellite signals to get time information, estimating the frequency deviation of a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator of the mobile terminal based on the time inforamtion, regulating the deviation voltage of the oscillator of the mobile terminal and utilizing the regulated deviation voltage to control the working frequency of the oscillator. This invention utilizes GPS signals to eliminate deviation of a mobile terminal at the beginning to enable it synchronized with the base station so as to increase probability of success for searching local regions initially.
