Abstract

The present invention provides a method for image brightness self-adaptive adjustment of high-resolution catadioptric vision system. (1)The camera terminal is regarded as an ordinary virtual serial port; because COM1 and COM2 are reserved serial ports, the camera terminal is regarded as virtual COM3 to avoid collision; (2)the virtual serial port is initialized; (3)using the brightness inquiry function, the brightness threshold of the image is calculated; (4) the brightness is determined whether it is in the range of brightness threshold(60-75), if not, the brightness self-adaptive adjustment function is performed. The mode of changing the camera exposure time in the present invention is realized by auto adjusting the camera exposure time as necessary in program, and by using the function of virtual serial port of the camera and simultaneously binding the image processing method. High resolution CCD camera combined with manual aperture lens can self-adapt the variation of natural brightness, and the response time is less than 3 second and the success rate of image self-adaptive adjustment reaches 100percent.
