A Chinese medicine for treating primary osteoporosis and climacteric syndrome is prepared from epimedium and fortune's drynaria rhizome through extracting in alcohol solution, macroreticular resin separation or extracting by ethyl acetate, and refining.

[0001] The present invention relates to the preparation method of the extract from Epimedium and Rhizoma Drynaria and the preparation thereof, wherein the extracts from Epimedium and Drynaria are prepared by separate extraction or combined extraction. A mixed drug for treating osteoporosis obtained by extracting water-containing alcohol or ethyl acetate, the purpose of which is to provide a drug with high content of active ingredients, low toxicity, small dosage and convenient use, which is used for osteoporosis and menopausal syndrome product.
