Systems and methods for generating and managing business process integration solutions include modeling a business strategy, including elements representing business metrics and initiatives, in terms of defined business goals and objectives of an entity; and business process elements of the artifact repository, and business commitment elements including consolidated key performance indicators, to model the business operations of the entity; map elements of the strategy model with the artifact and process elements of the operations model; measure business performance and compare performance metrics and the key performance indicators. The business strategy and operating model process elements are continually improved during the solution development cycle as a result of process measurements and comparisons. A business-grade modeling language is also implemented to formally represent business operations.
