Abstract

A process for treating a coated article of wear, such as a glove or a sock, is disclosed. The wear allows various treatments to be performed on the fingers and toes, such as fingernails and toenails. For example, each finger of the garment may include an absorbent pad containing acetone. A hand or foot is inserted into the article of wear such that the nail is located below an absorbent pad containing acetone, whereby acetone is constantly applied to the nail to remove nail polish. After the treatment is completed, the glove can be taken down and the open end of the glove is tied, so that the acetone and the smell thereof are wrapped in the glove. Other features and processes are also disclosed.

Description

[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS [0002] This application claims priority to US Patent Application No. 16 / 585,673, filed September 27, 2019, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. technical field [0003] This patent application relates to articles of wear, and more particularly to treating coated articles of wear. Background technique [0004] Manicures using gel nail polishes, which are usually aqueous solutions of acrylic polymers, have become very popular due to the high durability of gel polishes. Another benefit of gel manicures is the speed and ease of applying the polish to the nails. The use of gel nail polish allows for a beautiful manicure in a fraction of the time of a traditional manicure; it lasts much longer; and it is virtually indestructible. [0005] Removing gel nail polish is complex and time-consuming, requiring a long and cumbersome four-step process. First, soak a cotton ball in pure acetone. Then, place an aceton...
