The invention discloses an asphalt VOCs optimal control pollutant screening method and application thereof. The method comprises the steps of acquiring, detecting and analyzing an asphalt VOCs sample to obtain asphalt VOCs substance composition and content; selecting an asphalt VOCs environmental pollutant list according to the definition of VOCs and the environmental influence degree; according to corresponding chemical differences of different substances on ozone generation potentials, secondary aerosol generation potentials, health risk assessment and the like, quantifying asphalt VOCs environmental influence risk assessment; and performing priority ordering on the comprehensive influence effects of different substances in the asphalt VOCs by adopting an information entropy method to obtain priority control pollutant details of the asphalt VOCs. According to the method, the defects that a conventional pollutant screening method is high in subjectivity, not comprehensive in screening index and the like are overcome, the environmental influence degrees of different substances can be objectively and quantitatively evaluated by integrating multiple dimensions such as environment and human body harm, and the method is more suitable for pollutant screening research in the atmospheric environment.
