Abstract

The invention provides a metasurface-based millimeter wave wide-angle scanning phased-array antenna, and the antenna comprises a radiation structure and a feed structure positioned below the radiation structure; the radiation structure comprises four metasurface antenna sub-arrays and a plurality of n-shaped structures. Each metasurface antenna sub-array comprises a 1 * 4 metasurface antenna array element, and each metasurface antenna array element comprises a plurality of non-periodic patch units which are used for controlling aperture field distribution and widening the beam width of the array element, so the scanning performance of the array is improved. The n-shaped structure is arranged between the adjacent metasurface antenna sub-arrays, a non-uniform aperture field of an array surface is achieved, the array element beam width in the scanning surface direction is further widened, and therefore a wider scanning range is achieved. The feed structure is a one-to-two or two-to-four substrate integrated waveguide power divider and is used for feeding each metasurface antenna array element. According to the invention, wide-angle scanning of the millimeter wave phased array can be realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of antennas, in particular to a metasurface-based millimeter-wave wide-angle scanning phased array antenna. Background technique [0002] In recent years, millimeter wave technology has increasingly shown great application value in military, civil and industrial fields, and has become an important direction for the development of wireless technology. In order to overcome the problems of ultra-high path loss and multipath fading in the millimeter-wave frequency band, phased array antennas and massive MIMO array antennas have become the key technologies for millimeter-wave wireless communications. The phased array can change the beam direction of the array antenna or form a specific beam shape according to the needs, which is of great value to millimeter wave communication, radar, imaging and detection systems. In the current research on millimeter-wave wide-angle scanning phased arrays, there are generally problems of...
