Abstract

The invention relates to a whitening essential oil composition and an application thereof in whitening skin and inhibiting melanogenesis. The invention discloses a whitening essential oil composition. The whitening essential oil composition comprises chamaecyparis obtusa var.formosana essential oil, chamaecyparis formosensis essential oil, cinnamomum zeylanicum essential oil, illicium verum essential oil and lavandula angustifolia essential oil. The invention also discloses that the whitening essential oil composition can be used for whitening skin and inhibiting melanogenesis.
