Problems solved by technology

Plum blossoms have long branches, beautiful flowers, and pleasing fragrance. They are ideal cut flower materials. However, due to factors such as cultivation and postharvest treatment, plum blossom cut flowers are rarely used in the market, which limits its market and development value.
[0003] At present, there are two main types of flower promotion methods for cut flowers: cultivation and postharvest flower promotion. Postharvest flower promotion is to cut the cut flower branches at the bud stage and undergo certain physical and chemical treatments to promote the blooming of the flower buds for timely sale. Flower forcing is widely used in the production of perennial herbaceous flowers and other cut flowers. However, in plum blossoms, there is no unified and standard treatment method for combining cultivation and postharvest flower forcing. It is urgent to solve the different flowering periods of plum blossom cut flowers. Problems such as poor flowering quality and low commodity rate

[0068] 2 Materials and methods

[0069] 2.1 Materials

[0070] Three plum varieties 'Fenghou', 'Fenxia' and 'Gulihong' were selected as materials for cutting plum blossoms. Before collecting and cutting branches, the corresponding measures of fertilization, pruning and water regulation were carried out on the three varieties respectively. ; During the flower bud formation period, spray hormones to ensure the amount of flowers. The branches of the three varieties were collected in the current year for the flowering experiment of subsequent cut flowers, and the number of flower buds and the saturation of the flower buds of each branch were as consistent as possible ( figure 1 ).

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for forcing plum blossoms. The method comprises the following steps: (1) pre-harvest maintenance of plum blossoms; (2) treatment in a flower bud forming period of plum blossoms; and (3) screening of an optimal flower forcing temperature and flower forcing liquid. The method enables plum blossom tree bodies to have consistent growth vigor, full buds and large flower quantity; and the plum blossoms have uniform branch cutting specifications, neat and consistent flowering, and a high commodity rate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of cultivation and maintenance of garden plants, in particular to a method for promoting flowering of plum blossoms. Background technique [0002] Plum (Promus mume) is a unique traditional flower in my country with a cultivation history of more than 3,000 years. For a long time, my country's cut flower market has been occupied by popular flower species in Europe and America, mainly perennial herbaceous flowers, and only a few woody flowers such as roses. Plum blossoms have long branches, beautiful flowers, and pleasant fragrance. They are ideal cut flower materials. However, due to factors such as cultivation and post-harvest treatment, plum blossom cut flowers are rarely used in the market, which limits its market and development value. [0003] At present, there are two main types of flower promotion methods for cut flowers: cultivation and post-harvest flower promotion. Post-harvest flower promotion is to cut the...
