Embodiment 1

[0018] Casting start: Do a good job of preparation before casting, including melt quality, casting temperature, whether the chute and metal distributor are fully preheated, and check whether the mold for hollow ingot casting is tightly sealed to prevent leakage of liquid metal after discharge.

[0019] Casting process: After the casting starts to draw, closely observe the change of the liquid level of the mold for hollow ingot casting. As the drawing liquid level drops, evenly sprinkle 100-mesh graphite particles on the metal surface of the mold for hollow ingot casting according to regulations. The thickness is 2mm, which plays the role of lubricating and protecting liquid metal. During the casting process, graphite particles are continuously sprinkled on the metal surface of the crystallizer for hollow ingot casting, and the thickness of the sprinkled graphite particles is kept at 2 mm.

[0022] Casting start: Do a good job of preparation before casting, including melt quality, casting temperature, whether the chute and metal distributor are fully preheated, and check whether the mold for hollow ingot casting is tightly sealed to prevent leakage of liquid metal after discharge.

[0023] Casting process: After the casting starts to draw, closely observe the change of the liquid level of the hollow ingot casting mold. As the drawing liquid level drops, evenly sprinkle 300-mesh graphite particles on the metal surface of the hollow ingot casting mold according to regulations. The thickness is 4mm, which plays the role of lubricating and protecting liquid metal. During the casting process, graphite particles were continuously sprinkled on the metal surface of the crystallizer for hollow ingot casting, and the thickness of the sprinkled graphite particles was kept at 4 mm.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for casting a cupronickel hollow ingot under graphite protection. The method comprises the following steps that a crystallizer for casting the hollow ingot is kept sealed tightly before casting; (2), after casting is started, 100-mesh and 300-mesh graphite particles are evenly scattered on the metal surface of the crystallizer for casting the hollow ingot, and thethickness of the scattered graphite particles is 2 mm-4 mm; and (3), the liquid level in the crystallizer for casting the hollow ingot is lifted to the normal level, and casting is stopped. The cast ingot produced through the method is good in surface quality and free of casting defects, the one-time yield of the cast ingot is greatly increased, obvious economic benefits can be obtained, and air pollution is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of engineering application, and in particular relates to a method for protecting and casting a cupronickel hollow ingot with graphite. Background technique [0002] During the preparation of hollow ingots, carbon black or gas is usually used for lubrication and protection. This casting method has a low casting yield and high risk, and the casting site is seriously polluted, causing great harm to operators. Contents of the invention [0003] The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for graphite-protected casting of cupronickel hollow ingots which can improve the yield of hollow ingots and reduce pollution on the operation site, aiming at the shortcomings of conventional hollow ingot casting. [0004] The present invention adopts following technical scheme: [0005] A method for graphite protection casting cupronickel hollow ingot, is characterized in that, described method c...
