Embodiment 1

A saturated calcium carbonate solution is prepared by mixing calcium chloride solution and sodium carbonate solution. The maximum amount of calcium carbonate formed is 95 mg / l. 1 mg / L or 5 mg / L of antiscalant was added to the solution. The pH value of the solution was adjusted to 10.0, then stood at 75°C and shaken. After 20 hours, filter with a White Band funnel and determine the calcium content of the filtrate. The effect of antiscalant is calculated based on the calcium value of the experiment without antiscalant (0% antiscalant) and the calcium value without precipitation (100% antiscalant).
