Problems solved by technology

However, since there is no effective treatment for ALS, the existing movement disorders cannot be improved, so the main goal of treatment is to prolong the time of mild and moderate disease and survival of ALS patients, and to improve the quality of life of patients
[0004] At present, there is no cervical exoskeleton specially customized for ALS patients in the market. In order to enable patients to have a normal lifestyle, doctors generally recommend that patients wear a neck brace. Since the neck brace is fixed to the patient's neck, the patient cannot move his neck. In more serious cases, it will cause difficulty in breathing, and the patient will feel extremely uncomfortable and take off the

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for assisting human cervical vertebra joint movement. The device comprises a nodding mechanism for making the neck achieve the nodding function, a swinging mechanismfor making the neck swing left and right and a rotating mechanism for making the neck achieve the rotating function, wherein the nodding mechanism is arranged on the inner side of the swinging mechanism, and the rotating mechanism is arranged on the lower portion of the swinging mechanism; the rotating mechanism comprises a rotating part fixedly arranged on a supporting ring, and the rotating partrotates through a first driving mechanism; the nodding mechanism comprises a height adjusting part hinged into the rotating part, a second driving mechanism is arranged on the height adjusting part, and the height adjusting part is driven by the second driving mechanism to make the head move up and down; the swinging mechanism comprises a swinging part hinged into the height adjusting part, a third driving mechanism is arranged on the swinging part, and the swinging part swings left and right through the third driving mechanism; and the hinged position of the height adjusting part and the hinged position of the swinging part are perpendicular to each other and are positioned on the same plane. The device for assisting the head of a patient suffering from the gradual freezing disease to achieve normal movement is provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of medical equipment, in particular to a device for assisting the movement of human cervical spine joints. Background technique [0002] ALS is also commonly known as "gradually frozen person" disease. There are about 200,000 "gradually frozen person" in China, and the actual number may be more. Due to the damage of motor neurons, ALS patients will have a series of symptoms. At the beginning, they may just feel some symptoms such as weakness, twitching, and easy fatigue, and gradually progress to muscle atrophy and difficulty swallowing, leading to respiratory failure. [0003] The ultimate goal of ALS treatment is to eliminate symptoms and signs, and to restore normal physiological functions and working ability of people as much as possible. However, since there is no effective treatment for ALS, the existing movement disorders cannot be improved, so prolonging the time of ALS patients in mild and moderate disease a...
