Abstract

The invention discloses a heat pump water heater. The heat pump water heater comprises a heat exchanger, a water feed pipe, a first water temperature sensor, a water level sensor and a controller, wherein the heat exchanger is provided with heat exchange tubes for heat exchange between a coolant system and a water channel of the heat exchange tubes; the water feed pipe is connected with outlets ofthe heat exchange tubes and used for delivering water subjected to heat exchange to a water storage device for storage; the first water temperature sensor is connected with the water storage device and used for detecting the water temperature in the water storage device; the water level sensor is connected with the water storage device and used for detecting the water level of the water storage device; and the controller is configured to have a first control mode and a second control mode used for controlling the water temperature in the water storage device; and the first control mode and the second control module can be switched. The heat pump water heater disclosed by the invention can automatically balance the water temperature and water level in the water storage device.
