Abstract

Methods and apparatus for detecting anomalies of an infrastructure are provided. The present invention relates to a method for detecting anomalies in an infrastructure, the method comprising the steps: analyzing each data packet (PD) exchanged in a telecommunication system; identifying, for each analyzed data packet (PD), all network protocols used and at least one field of each protocol; generating, for each switched data packet (PD) and on the basis of the identified protocol and field, a virtual representation of the infrastructure (1); storing the virtual representation generated for eachswitched data packet (PD); comparing the stored virtual representation with the at least one comparison element to identify at least one critical state of the infrastructure as a function of a difference and/or similarity between the stored virtual representation and the comparison element; and when at least one critical state is identified in the virtual representation, signaling an anomaly of the infrastructure by means of a computerized data processing component.
