Abstract

The invention relates to a method for planting ecotype arbors on erosional landforms. The planting method comprises the steps of (1) digging planting holes according to the diameter of nursery stock soil balls; (2) digging one or more water storing pits beside each planting hole, laying materials for preventing moisture from running off in each pit, and backfilling a water filtering layer at the lower layer; (3) arranging a moisture gathering device in each water storing pit, and guiding one or more water guiding pipes to each planting hole from the bottom of the water filtering layers of thewater storing pits; (4) planting nursery stocks, laying a rice stem layer, an infiltrated planting soil layer and a mixed planting soil layer from top to bottom in each planting pit; and (5) arranging2-4 water storing pipes and one or more exhausting pipes in each planting pit. According to the method, the moisture gathering devices in the water storing pits and water retention planting layers are arranged, so that moisture required for plant growth is effectively gathered and reserved, and the survival rate of planted nursery stocks on arid hilly land regions can be increased. The method hasfavorable elasticity when being adapted to environment changes, water storage and water retention are performed during raining weather, and during drought weather, stored water is released to be used.
