Abstract

This power conversion device is provided with a converter (2R), a first capacitor (C1R), and a second capacitor (C2R). The first capacitor (C1R) is connected between a DC positive bus line (PL1) and aDC neutral point bus line (NL1). The second capacitor (C2R) is connected between the DC neutral point bus line (NL1) and a DC negative bus line (CL1). The converter (2R) includes: diode rectifiers (D1R, D2R) that are respectively connected between an AC power supply (1) and the DC positive bus line (PL1), and between an AC power supply (1) and the DC negative bus line (NL1); and first AC switches(D3R to D6R, Q1R) that are electrically connected between the AC power supply (1) and the DC neutral point bus line (CL1).
