The invention provides a workflow resource management method based on an ant colony optimization method on a workflow-front-end virtual machine, which solves the problem of resource management of workflows with an interdependence relationship on the front-end virtual machine. In a front-end virtual machine-background server layer, a greedy strategy-based multi-type virtual machine deployment method is provided, and virtual machines are deployed on a physical machine more quickly, so that the expense is reduced. Based on a resource management framework on a two-layer architecture, the cost is used as an optimization index, and the cloud data center cost optimization method based on resource management is formed.
