Abstract

The invention provides a full polarization-maintaining femtosecond fiber laser system. The system comprises a seed source and an amplifier, and the amplifier comprises an amplification stage, a stretcher and a compressor, wherein the seed source is a mode-locked fiber laser, the mode-locked fiber laser outputs laser pulses, the laser pulses are connected with a first polarization-maintaining isolator and then are connected to a first-stage amplifier, and the pulse with the increased output power after the first-stage amplification is accessed to the stretcher through a second polarization-maintaining isolator; the stretched pulse is accessed for the second-stage amplification, and the pulse with the increased output power after the second-stage amplification is accessed to a compressor through a third polarization-maintaining isolator and is compressed through a compression-stage pulse. The full polarization-maintaining femtosecond fiber laser system has the advantages that the full polarization-maintaining femtosecond fiber laser system is composed of all-polarization-maintaining devices, the output power of the laser is improved, the shorter and higher-quality pulses are obtained; the full polarization-maintaining femtosecond fiber laser system realizes the all-fiber, is miniature and is high in stability; finally, the pulse width is compressed into 63 fs through an amplification system, and the maximum output average power is 350 mW.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of optical fiber devices, in particular to a full polarization-maintaining femtosecond optical fiber laser system. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development and innovation of laser technology, ultrashort pulse lasers are widely used in scientific research and industrial production. These application requirements require that ultrashort pulse lasers not only have a short pulse width, but also have a high Pulse energy with sufficiently high average power. However, the optical pulse directly output by the oscillator is not enough to meet the requirements of industrial processing, so it is necessary to add one or more stages of amplification after the original ultrashort pulse oscillator to achieve high-power, high-energy pulse output. Since the invention of chirped pulse amplification (CPA) in 1985, it has greatly promoted the development of high-power ultrashort pulses. The realization of CPA techn...
