Abstract

The invention relates to a DHCP cluster scheduling method and a DHCP cluster system. The DHCP cluster scheduling method comprises the following steps: a scheduling module records an address field range in charge of each DHCP server, the number of idle addresses of each address field and allocated address information; when receiving the request message, the relay server randomly sends the request message to any DHCP server of the DHCP cluster; if the type of the request message is an address allocation message, whether an idle address exists in an address field in charge of the local machine ornot is checked; if the idle address does not exist, the DHCP server queries the DHCP server with the highest idle rate of the address field from the scheduling module, and forwards the address allocation message to the queried DHCP server. According to the solution of the invention, the distribution and management of the address pools are completed under the condition of multiple network domains,and the use scene of large-scale address segment centralized management is satisfied; algorithm scheduling of load balancing is realized, and service availability is prevented from being affected byfailure of a single DHCP server in a cluster.
