Abstract

The invention discloses an Acanthopanax trifoliatus polysaccharide, a preparation method thereof, and an application of the Acanthopanax trifoliatus polysaccharide in the preparation of antitumor drugs. The Acanthopanax trifoliatus polysaccharide has a high total sugar content (90% or above), and is a precipitate formed by precipitating a water extract, obtained by removing a 66% ethanol precipitate from Acanthopanax trifoliatus stems, with 80% ethanol. In-vitro antitumor activity test results show that the Acanthopanax trifoliatus polysaccharide has extremely strong proliferation inhibition activity on human esophageal cancer cells and human ovarian cancer cells, so that the Acanthopanax trifoliatus polysaccharide has a prospect of being developed into anti-human esophageal cancer and anti-human ovarian cancer drugs.
