Problems solved by technology

However, this processing method takes a long time to obtain a stable and consistent signal. For high-speed sewing machines, it will produce some undesirable results, such as poor control of the length of the thread when trimming the thread, etc., and this anti-sunlight The treatment method will fail when the intensity of sunlight radiation is high

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system detecting cloth of a sewing machine. The method includes the steps of: when an infrared-emitting diode oppositely projecting to an infrared photosensitivediode in an infrared light receiving circuit is started, receiving a first sampling signal sent by the infrared light receiving circuit; when the infrared-emitting diode is shut, receiving a second sampling signal sent by the infrared light receiving circuit; generating first infrared light energy corresponding to the first sampling signal and second infrared light energy corresponding to the second sampling signal, and calculating a difference between the first infrared light energy and the second infrared light energy; and according to a comparison between the difference and present infrared light energy, determining whether a corresponding position of the infrared photosensitive diode has the cloth. The method and the system provided by the invention may effectively remove interferenceof infrared light in an environment on cloth detection, reduce the time for the cloth detection, and are helpful to control a length of a thread chain when the sewing machine trims a thread; and withthe arrangement of the infrared photosensitive diode, a light intensity may be sensed more accurately, and thus the accuracy for the cloth detection is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of sewing machines, in particular to a method and system for detecting cloth of a sewing machine. Background technique [0002] With the development of sewing machine technology, more and more sewing machines are moving toward automation. The sewing machine detects the state of the fabric on the sewing table through the fabric detection sensor, and performs corresponding sewing actions, such as lifting the presser foot and trimming the thread. Normally, the fabric detection sensor on the sewing machine emits infrared light from the infrared light emitting tube, and receives the infrared light from the infrared photosensitive triode to sense the state of the fabric. [0003] Some sewing machines are limited by working conditions and cannot avoid sunlight. Infrared light in sunlight will affect the work of the fabric detection sensor, and in severe cases, the fabric detection sensor will fail, causing the se...
