Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a railway BIM model lightweight method and system based on component instance merging. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a semantic information set in a BIM model, including basic attributes, an attribute set and an association relationship of each component in the BIM model, and combining repeated semantic information to obtain a simplified semantic information set; merging the geometric expressions associated with each component based on the simplified semantic information set, and identifying the components with the same geometric shape anddifferent positions according to the instance number to obtain a parameterized geometric expression model; converting the parameterized geometric expression model into basic geometric expression units such as points, lines and surfaces which can be directly displayed by a computer based on a component merging discrete algorithm; and obtaining a lightweight BIM model based on the basic geometric expression unit. According to the embodiment of the invention, the lightweight BIM model data is obtained based on component instance combination, the super-large data volume of the model is reduced, the bottleneck of the model in storage and transmission is solved, and the high efficiency is realized.
