Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for processing a data request in a blockchain network, and the method comprises the steps: receiving a data request transmitted by a business node in a business sub-network, the data request carrying an identity certificate corresponding to the business node, a sub-chain identification corresponding to a to-be-accessed sub-blockchain, and an address ofa to-be-accessed consensus node; verifying the identity certificate by using a public key of a certificate authentication center issuing the identity certificate; when the verification is passed, checking whether the identity certificate of the service node comprises a sub-chain identifier or not; if yes, determining a target consensus branch network used for maintaining a sub-blockchain corresponding to the sub-chain identifier, and obtaining an address of each consensus node in the target consensus branch network; and when the acquired address comprises the address of the consensus node to be accessed, forwarding the data request to a target consensus branch network in the consensus sub-network. According to the scheme provided by the invention, the processing performance of the whole blockchain network can be effectively improved.
