The embodiment of the invention discloses an embedded subscriber identity module eSIM card changing method and related equipment, and the method comprises the steps of enabling an authentication server to receive a first card changing request sent by terminal equipment, wherein the first card changing request comprises a user account, a password, a user number and an eUICC chip identification; verifying the user identity of the terminal equipment according to the user account and the password; if the verification is passed, sending a second card changing request to a business support system (BSS) of the operator, wherein the second card changing request comprises the user number and the eUICC chip identifier, the second card changing request is used for indicating the BSS to complete eSIMcard changing, and notifying an eSIM server to generate an eSIM configuration file and associate the eSIM configuration file with the eUICC chip identifier.
