Problems solved by technology

However, OTSC or padlock clips are only suitable for relatively small tumors, and traditional suturing methods are still required for relatively large tumors for full-thickness resection
[0005] In recent years, there has also been a suture system under soft endoscopy, such as the OverStitchSx gastroscopic suture system of APOLLO in the United States, which uses traditional thread suture methods and uses a mechanical system to solve the suture problem under soft endoscopy. Due to its extremely cumbersome operation process, it has not been widely developed and applied.

Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic suture mechanism for a minimally invasive surgery. The automatic suture mechanism includes a control handle, an endoscope apex hook assembly and a suture needle; the suture needle is arranged a clamp passage inserted pipe of the endoscope apex hook assembly in a penetrating mode; a push needle rod is arranged in a sheath pipe of the control handle in a penetrating mode; an inner hole of the clamp passage inserted pipe communicates with an inner hole of the sheath pipe; a push pin rod of the control handle is pushed, and the push pin rod can outward push thesuture needle from the endoscope apex hook assembly; and the suture needle is made of memory metal. The automatic suture mechanism makes clever use of the memory effect of shape memory alloy and makes use of the temperature control effect of memory alloy, the suture needle is gradually bent during push, suture technique is simulated, and thus the automatic suture action is realized. The inventionfurther discloses an application method of the automatic suture mechanism.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical device, in particular to an automatic suturing mechanism for minimally invasive surgery. The invention also relates to a method of using the automatic sewing mechanism. Background technique [0002] Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) are the main methods for the treatment of digestive system tumors and precancerous lesions. However, for mucosal lesions involving the entire thickness of the digestive tract, submucosal tumors originating from the muscularis propria (protruding to the subserosa, or adhesions between the tumor and the serosa), the lifting signs are often negative, and ESD is used. Difficult, the phenomenon that the tumor cannot be completely removed, and complications such as bleeding and perforation often occur, and the operation time is long and the operation cost is high. [0003] Although endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR) can solve the tumor rooted...
