Abstract

The present invention discloses a target surface normal vector acquisition method and system based on polarized millimeter wave radiation. The method comprises: performing imaging on a to-be-detectedtarget placed in a non-polarized radiation environment with three different antenna polarization rotation angles at different observation points to obtain a brightness temperature image of the target;calculating an average brightness temperature value of the surface of the target; substituting the three different antenna polarization rotation angles and the corresponding average brightness temperature value into a curve equation to solve a phase angle of each surface; and according to the phase angles of the surfaces, in combination with the observed azimuth angle and the observed zenith angle, acquiring a normal vector of the surface of the target. According to the method disclosed by the present invention, calculation of the normal vector only needs to acquire the phase angle in two directions, and the operations of atmospheric transmission, atmospheric radiation, calibration, and the like cannot change the phase angle of the cosine equation and cannot affect the normal vector acquisition, so that the method can be applied in indoor, outdoor, long-distance, close-range and other application scenarios, and has strong ability to detect and recognize the target.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of passive microwave remote sensing and detection, and more specifically relates to a method and system for acquiring a target surface normal vector based on polarized millimeter wave radiation. Background technique [0002] All objects with a physical temperature higher than 0K will spontaneously radiate electromagnetic energy to space in the form of electromagnetic waves, and this phenomenon is called thermal radiation. The millimeter-wave radiometer realizes remote sensing and detection of targets by receiving thermal radiation signals in the millimeter-wave frequency band. This technology is usually called passive millimeter-wave radiation measurement technology. Millimeter wave radiation measurement has the advantages of all-day, quasi-all-weather work, concealment, and penetration of the atmosphere, clothing, and smoke to a certain extent, so it has been applied to fields such as remote sensing, securi...
