Abstract

The upper end of the line lightning arrester is connected to a cross arm by a tension sensor; and the lower end of the suspension disc type insulator chain is connected to a wire side linking plate. A data line of an intelligent host is connected to the tension sensor; and information is sent to a device management department by a communication unit. With the disclosed method, the backup protection of the V-shaped composite insulator chain is realized; the lightning protection level of the line is increased; the chain falling probability is reduced; and the lightning trip-out rate is reduced.
