The system comprises an orchestrator module, a controller module, an equipment module and an interface module. The controller module is connected with the orchestrator module and can perform service management configuration on the equipment modules with the multiple versions of software at the same time. The equipment module is connected with the controller module, is used for clearing the original configuration during upgrading, and is compatible with the service configuration issued by the controller module. The interface module is connected with the orchestrator module, the controller module and the equipment module. The invention also relates to a method for realizing a software version smooth upgrading function for an SD-WAN system.
