The method comprises the following steps of through a motion sensor in the depth camera, acquiring a plurality of attitude information of the depth camera, and according to the plurality of attitude information, obtaining a rotation matrix for converting a current attitude of the depth camera to a preset standard attitude; and based on the rotation matrix, obtaining point cloud data of the depth camerain the current attitude and converting to corresponding standard point cloud data in the standard attitude, fusing the standard point cloud data corresponding to the point cloud data in the pluralityof attitudes, and calculating a volume of a carried cargo in the cargo carrying box body according to a spatial position of the fused standard point cloud data.
