Benefits of technology

This patented technology relates to an improved type of oil used when making wires or cables that require better wear resistance compared to older methods like grease plugs. It uses special oils called drylubrients instead of traditional ones (lube oil). These new types of oily liquids provide higher speeds at drawings without causing damage from fine impurities found on the metal being produced. They reduce environmental concerns by reducing waste caused through their usage. Additionally, they enhance the properties of these fluids while maintaining them over time. Overall, this innovative technical solution provides more efficient and effective ways to make stronger and longer lasty materials than previous options.

Problems solved by technology

This patents discusses different ways how well known chemicals like iron oil and chrome water help prevent damage caused by metal surfaces when they come into contact. However, these materials also contain various substances called impurities that may be detrimental if consumed at too much overall. Therefore, there needs an effective way to create a dry type lubricator without containing any unwanted compounds while maintaining excellent overall performance.

Embodiment 1

[0014] Embodiment 1: A compound high-efficiency lubricant for steel wire drawing, wherein the weight ratio of 45% sodium palmitate, 25% solid additive, 5% antioxidant, 15% emulsifier, and 10% extreme pressure additive is used.

[0015] The preparation method of the above-mentioned steel wire drawing composite high-efficiency lubricant comprises the following steps:

[0016] 1) Mix sodium palmitate, solid additives, antioxidants, emulsifiers, and extreme pressure additives in proportion to the mixing equipment

[0017] 2) Melt, mix and stir at 160°C for 1 hour

[0018] 3) The product is crushed and screened, and 200-mesh particles are selected to obtain a powdery lubricant product.

Embodiment 2

[0019] Embodiment 2: A compound high-efficiency lubricant for steel wire drawing, which adopts the weight ratio of 45% sodium palmitate, 25% solid additive, 5% antioxidant, 15% emulsifier, and 10% extreme pressure additive.

[0020] The preparation method of the above-mentioned steel wire drawing composite high-efficiency lubricant comprises the following steps:

[0021] 1) Mix sodium palmitate, solid additives, antioxidants, emulsifiers, and extreme pressure additives in proportion to the mixing equipment

[0022] 2) Melt, mix and stir at 160°C for 1 hour

[0023] 3) The product is crushed and screened, and 400-mesh particles are selected to obtain a powdery lubricant product.

Embodiment 3

[0024] Embodiment 3: A compound high-efficiency lubricant for steel wire drawing, wherein the weight ratio of 50% sodium palmitate, 25% solid additive, 5% antioxidant, 12% emulsifier, and 8% extreme pressure additive is used.

[0025] The preparation method of the above-mentioned steel wire drawing composite high-efficiency lubricant comprises the following steps:

[0026] 1) Mix sodium palmitate, solid additives, antioxidants, emulsifiers, and extreme pressure additives in proportion to the mixing equipment

[0027] 2) Melt, mix and stir at 160°C for 1 hour

[0028] 3) The resultant is crushed and screened, and 600-mesh particles are selected to obtain a powdery lubricant product.

Abstract

The invention discloses an efficient composite lubricant for steel wire drawing. The components and the weight ratios of the components of the efficient composite lubricant for steel wire drawing areas follows: 40% to 60% of sodium palmitate, 3% to 5% of antioxidant, 10 % to 15% of emulsifier, 20% to 25% of solid additive, 5% to 10% of extreme pressure additive. The extreme pressure additive is one or more selected from sulfurized terpene, chlorinated paraffin, molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate and sulfurized isobutylene, and preferably is sulfurized isobutylene. The solid additive is one ormore selected from graphene, graphitic carbon nitride, molybdenum disulfide and polytetrafluoroethylene, and preferably is graphene. The lubricant provided by the invention has excellent lubricating effect and can be applied to high-speed drawing. And the surface quality of the drawn steel wire after use of the lubricant is superior.
