Abstract

An abnormal speed picking point removal method and system are disclosed. The method comprises: 1) performing speed pair auto-pickup on the common center point seismic gather data to obtain the speed pair pickup data of a whole work area; 2) setting a local area centering the position of a grid point with the target speed pair based on the grid corresponding to the speed pair pickup data; 3) performing speed function fitting on the data based on all speeds in the local area; 4) removing speed pickup abnormal points based on the fitting speed function value corresponding to each picking point ofthe target speed pair; 5) moving the local area by unit grid and repeating steps 3)-4) until the entire grid is traversed.
