Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition contains at least one polymerizable compound of a formula I, and at least one compound of a formula II. The liquidcrystal composition provided by the invention has suitable optical anisotropy, suitable dielectric anisotropy, and good low temperature storage stability while maintaining a relatively high clearing point. The invention also provides a liquid crystal display device containing the liquid crystal composition, and when the liquid crystal composition is applied to the liquid crystal display device, the display effect is excellent.
