With adding of the modified inorganic flame-retardant fillers and the reinforced fiber, insulativity and flame retardance of the bulk molding compound are improved on the basis of not changing its mechanical performance. Theinvention further provides a preparation method of the insulating flame-retardant bulk molding compound. According to the preparation method, the stirring speed after slowing adding of the modified inorganic flame-retardant fillers, the organic silicon flame retardant and the reinforced fiber and the mold closing pressure are controlled precisely, so that mixing uniformity of the modified inorganic flame-retardant fillers and the reinforced fiber is improved, and insulativity and flame retardance of the bulk molding compound are improved.
