Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for controlling a controllable device to access a network, wherein the method comprises the following steps: obtaining identification information of a target controllable device, wherein the target controllable device is a controllable device which initiates a network attachment request; sending the identification information to an authentication serverso that the authentication server verifies the validity of the identification information and obtains a verification result; receiving the authentication result returned by the authentication server;responding to the network attachment request according to the verification result. The present disclosure may control lawful steerable device access to a cellular network such that the cellular network may provide services for the steerable device.
