Abstract

The invention provides a cultivation method for inhibiting grape root system floating by planting ryegrass using under-crown soil. The method comprises the following steps: 1, under-crown soil preparation: construction of the under-crown soil having a width of 80-100 cm with the trunk of a grape vine as a center, and making of ridges having a height of 10 cm and a width of 20 cm at two sides of the under-crown soil; 2, ryegrass sowing: soil loosening of a 0-10 cm soil layer in the under-crown soil with a small rotary cultivator or a spade, broadcast sowing of ryegrass seeds preferably at the end of August in autumn, water sprinkling, and coverage of the ryegrass seeds with soil having a thickness of 1-2 cm for germination; and 3, ryegrass management: cutting of the ryegrass by using a grass chopper or a reaping hook with 5-8 cm stubbles left when the ryegrass grows to 40 +/- 10 cm. The method can effectively inhibit grape root floating to ensure the quality of fruits and plants. The method is suitable for being used as a grape vine growing method for inhibiting grape root floating.
