Abstract

The invention discloses a belt conveyor blockage preventing device which comprises a receiving tray, a rotating shaft and sleeves, and further comprises a counterweight and an induction plate, whereinthe receiving tray is used for receiving a material; the rotating shaft is used for fixing the receiving tray; the receiving tray is connected to the rotating shaft in such a manner that one side ofthe receiving tray is taken as an axis; the sleeves are arranged at two ends of the rotating shaft and used for fixing the rotating shaft, so that the receiving tray can rotate in the sleeves in sucha manner that the rotating shaft is taken as an axis; the counterweight and the induction plate are arranged at one end of the rotating shaft; the counterweight is adjustable, and the counterweight and the receiving tray are correspondingly arranged on two sides of the rotating shaft, so that the balance between the counterweight and the receiving tray can be achieved in such a manner that the rotating shaft is taken as a supporting point; and when the accumulation on the receiving tray is excessive, the gravity of the counterweight is overcome by the receiving tray, the induction plates is driven by the receiving tray to rotate into the induction range of a proximity switch of a belt conveyor, and the power supply to the belt conveyor is cut off through an induction switch, so that the blockage or scattering phenomenon can be prevented. The above belt conveyor blockage preventing device can act when the leakage on a belt is excessive, the proximity switch can be triggered to cut off the power supply to the belt conveyor, and then the blockage can be prevented; the structure is simple; and the manual monitoring is not needed. The invention further discloses a using method of the above belt conveyor blockage preventing device.
