Problems solved by technology

Due to the constraints of hardware equipment and computer technology, most of the current research on virtual surgery systems uses simulation platforms to simulate human tissue experiments, which loses the sense of immersion required by virtual reality; in addition, the human tissue models of virtual surgery systems are basically They all use 3D software for simulation, which lacks authenticity and is of little value to actual surgical applications, and it does not yet meet the requirements of virtual surgical systems for clinical applications.

Embodiment Construction

[0072] In order to better explain the present invention and facilitate understanding, the present invention will be described in detail below through specific embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0073] The present invention mainly is divided into 3 steps:

[0074] The first step is to extract the volume data of specific tissues from the patient's medical tomographic images (CT / MRI, etc.);

[0075] The second step is to establish a 3D mesh model of a specific organization based on the volume data;

[0076] The third step is to build a virtual surgical scene: build the operating room environment, import the tissue mesh model, and add collision detection.

[0077] The above three steps are described in detail below:

[0078] 2.1 Extract the voxel points of specific tissues from the patient's medical tomographic images (CT / MRI, etc.);

[0079] For example, the following sub-steps may be included:

[0080] Step1: Initialize the candidate point queue to ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for establishing virtual reality assisted surgery based on medical images. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring volume data of specific tissues from amedical tomographic image of a patient, processing the volume data, and generating a three-dimensional human body tissue model represented by a tetrahedral network; according to the virtual reality glasses, a 3D model operating room is constructed, which is equivalent to the real operating room. The 3D human tissue model is added to the 3D model operating room, and a collision detection bounding box is added to the tissues in the tissue model to detect whether the tissues collide with each other in the simulated operation. The control device associated with the 3D model operating room is matched with the tissue model to obtain the matching relationship, so that the user can use the control device to perform virtual reality assisted surgery. The above method utilizes the tissue data extracted from the patient CT image data for three-dimensional modeling, and restores the real human tissue and surgical scene with the help of virtual reality equipment, so as to achieve the immersion and interaction caused by virtual surgery.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to virtual reality technology, in particular to a method for establishing medical image-based virtual reality-assisted surgery. Background technique [0002] The virtual assisted surgery system has important application value in preoperative planning, teaching, and doctor-patient communication. Due to the constraints of hardware equipment and computer technology, most of the current research on virtual surgery systems uses simulation platforms to simulate human tissue experiments, which loses the sense of immersion required by virtual reality; in addition, the human tissue models of virtual surgery systems are basically They all use 3D software for simulation, which lacks authenticity, has little value for actual surgical applications, and does not yet meet the requirements of virtual surgical systems for clinical applications. Nowadays, the rapid development of software and hardware technologies such as computer technology, comm...
