The disability level evaluating method and device can determine the activity abilityaccording to a pre-configured standard action library and the life video of the care recipient, and determine the disability level through the pre-trained disability assessment model and the characteristic information of the care recipient. The entire evaluation of the disability level does not require human participation, and has a uniform fixed identification and evaluation criteria; and the disability evaluation is efficient, and the evaluation result are objective.
