Embodiment Construction

[0029] figure 1 A schematic view of a breast pump 1 suitable for implementing the features of the invention is shown. The breast pump 1 comprises a squeeze set 2 with a squeeze set housing 4 . Funnel 3 , container 5 and tube 7 are connected to squeeze sleeve housing 4 . The funnel 3 is shaped to be placed on the user's breast to express breast milk from the breast. The breast milk is collected in a container 5 which may be fixedly connected to the squeeze sleeve housing 4 eg by screwing or by bayonet fitting. A vent valve 9 may be provided in the extrusion sleeve housing 4 to vent the components during and after extrusion. The squeeze sleeve 2 is connected to the drive unit 20 via a tube 7 .

[0030] The drive unit 20 comprises a housing 21 comprising all internal components 22 required to operate the breast pump 1 . These components 22 include at least the pressure unit 6 , the control unit 8 and the user interface 10 . Other components may be present but are not explic...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a drive unit (20) for a breast pump, comprising a housing (21), internal components (22) arranged in the housing (21), and a suspension (17), wherein the internal components (22) are mechanically coupled to each other to form a unit which is mechanically coupled to the housing (21) by way of the suspension (17).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a drive unit for a breast pump and a breast pump for expressing breast milk from a female breast. Background technique [0002] Arrangements for reducing noise and vibration are known from various fields of application, since most electric devices will emit more or less noise and may vibrate, hindering the use and handling of the device. [0003] US 2005 / 0168046 A1 discloses a method and a device for damping vibrations in a vehicle seat. Selected parts of the seat are separated from other parts by elastic elements and tuned to a resonant frequency to absorb noise and vibration. Each part can be tuned to the desired resonant frequency to fit and act as a single mass damper. However, the solution proposed by US2005 / 0168046A1 requires a component whose vibration frequency is suitable for the frequency range to be eliminated. For many applications, there will not be enough components or their frequencies will not be suitable for...
