Abstract
The invention relates to a liquid crystal composition containing fluoroalkoxy liquid crystal compounds, wherein the liquid crystal composition comprises at least one compound as shown in a general formula I and at least one compound as shown in a general formula II. The compound as shown in the general formula I has a 2,3-difluorobenzene structure and has relatively high negative dielectric anisotropy and a high clearing point; and the compound as shown in the general formula II contains fluoroalkoxy biphenyl 2,3-difluorobenzene and has low rotary viscosity as well as relatively high optical anisotropy and negative dielectric anisotropy. The liquid crystal composition disclosed by the invention has low rotary viscosity, large elastic constant, good low temperature intersolubility and highresponse speed and can be used for fast response liquid crystal display in various display modes; and when being used in a display in a VA / MVA / PVA / PSVA, IPS or FFS mode, the liquid crystal compositionis capable of obviously improving the display effect of a liquid crystal display and particularly has a good effect on improving the response time of the liquid crystal display.
