Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-dimensional adaptive MIMO system for 5G and an antenna port radiation mode adjustment method thereof. The system comprises a transmission antenna array, a first turn plate, a broadband vector signal generator, a receiving antenna array, a second turn plate, a broadband vector signal analyzer and a data acquisition terminal, wherein the broadband vector signal generator and the broadband vector signal analyzer are separately connected with the transmitting antenna array and the receiving antenna array, and the data acquisition terminal is connected with the broadband vector signal generator and the broadband vector signal analyzer. In the method, through optimizing the weight vectors of the antenna elements, correlation between the antenna ports is expressedas antenna element matrixes forming the antenna ports and corresponding weight vector functions thereof; and through controlling antenna element azimuth angle, antenna element elevation angle and antenna element downward inclination angle applied to the antenna elements, the radiation mode of the antenna port is dynamically adjusted. According to the system and method provided by the invention, the antenna array structure is used, the shape factor is more flexible, more analysis information is provided, and the system spatial correlation is increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a 5G-oriented multi-dimensional self-adaptive MIMO system and a method for adjusting the radiation pattern of an antenna port, which uses the number, position, mode and corresponding weight vector of antenna elements to control the radiation pattern of the antenna port. Background technique [0002] Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) base stations are equipped with a large number of antennas (typically tens to hundreds) for additional system gain. MIMO technology is an active area of research and standardization for fifth generation (5G) wireless communication systems. MIMO technology has been the subject of people's attention in the past two decades due to its ability to cope with the growth of wireless data traffic and improve the reliability of wireless systems. From the perspective of passenger experience, in addition to the requirements of 5G, the next-generation transportation systems of high-speed railways,...
