Abstract

The invention discloses a mechanical performance testing system and method for carbon nanotube fibers in a high-temperature state. The mechanical performance testing system for the carbon nanotube fibers in the high-temperature state comprises a mechanical performance testing device, a power supply device, a gas protection device and a temperature testing device. The mechanical performance testingdevice is used for applying force required by testing to to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers. The power supply device is used for feeding current into the to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers to realize self heating of the to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers. The gas protection device is at least used for providing a protective gas environment for the to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers in testing. The temperature testing device is used for detecting the temperature of the to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers. By the mechanical performance testing system, mechanical performance testing of the carbon nanotube fibers under high-temperature conditions is realized, the temperature of the to-be-tested carbon nanotube fibers can be increased to 2000 DEG C or above by means of ohmic heating, and accordingly mechanical performance testing data under different temperature conditions can be obtained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention particularly relates to a system and method for testing the mechanical properties of carbon nanotube fibers in a high temperature state, belonging to the technical field of carbon nanotube performance testing. Background technique [0002] Carbon nanotubes are nanomaterials with one-dimensional structure, which are rolled into a ring structure by similar single-layer graphite, and have excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal and other properties. It has broad application prospects in aerospace, electromagnetic shielding materials, energy storage, lightweight wires, safety protection, biological materials and other fields. The carbon nanotube fibers are more conducive to the conduction of force, electricity and heat due to the approximately parallel arrangement of the tubes. Utilizing the characteristics of light weight and high strength of carbon nanotube fibers, it can be used in aerospace and safety protection and other fields; at th...
